BIOGRAPHY
A graduate of NYC’s School of Visual Arts with a BFA in Film, Matvey regularly shoots in Europe and the US. His calm, gentle visual approach makes use of hand-held cameras, warm tones, easy vibes and a preference for 16mm film over digital formats. His short film “Douggy” premiered at the Locarno International Film Festival.
